DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Cooked seeds:

• Rinse the seeds well under running water.

• Allow soaking for 1 to 3 hours at room temperature.

• Rinse with cold running water.

• Cook for 30 to 45 min.

• Allow the seeds to cool and drain.

• Give as is or mixed with eggfood or fruits.

Soaked seeds

• Rinse the seeds well under running water.

• Allow soaking for 6 to 24 hours at room temperature, preferably changing the water several times.

• Rinse with plenty of cold running water.

• If desired, allow draining for 1 to 3 hours.

• Give as is or mixed with eggfood or fruits.

TIPS

You can make and freeze enough cooked feed for several days and defrost the required portion daily.

As a result of soaking, the grains become soft so that the birds take them very readily. Soaked seeds are also easier to shell. Feeding soaked seed mixtures has a positive effect on reproductive behaviour and enhances the brooding condition.
